Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven Community Impact Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in identifying community needs, developing impactful programs, and building strong relationships with local partners. Your dedication to service and your ability to connect with diverse populations will be instrumental in making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Initiative: Demonstrate self-direction and motivation, taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop clear action plans to achieve both short-term and long-term goals, ensuring alignment with the YMCA's mission and values.
  • Problem Solving & Innovation: Think creatively to find solutions to challenges, adapting existing ideas or developing new approaches to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Conflict Resolution: Assess conflict situations objectively and recommend constructive solutions, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders, understanding their needs and advocating for their well-being.
  • Political Awareness: Demonstrate an understanding of the political landscape within and outside the organization, navigating complex relationships effectively.

Requirements

This role requires regular travel throughout the region. A valid G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are essential.

As an organization committed to the safety and well-being of children, youth, and vulnerable populations, all employees must undergo a Police Vulnerable Sector Check and provide three professional references.
