Daily Responsibilities: What to Expect

As an Accounting Technician, your duties will include:

  • Managing updates to employee records (new hires, terminations, adjustments to employment conditions, benefits, and employment records);
  • Monitoring vacation, holiday, and sick leave balances;
  • Collaborating in the year-end financial processes (identifying discrepancies and making necessary corrections) for tax documentation;
  • Processing payroll for all staff in accordance with the established timeline and handling special cases such as maternity leaves, work-related injuries, and disability claims.
