About the Role

The Financial Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of projects at Johnson Controls. This includes monitoring project progress, managing accounting and financial activities, and providing financial analysis and cost model management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders to optimize project financial performance.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, payments, and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial project management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in project accounting or financial management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.

Working Conditions

  • Office environment.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
