Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Attendant for Persons with Disabilities at Heather Sawchuk. This is a permanent, part-time position with 25-35 hours of work per week.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes. This includes administering medications, assisting with bathing and personal hygiene, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and support to clients
- Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking
- Change non-sterile dressings as needed
- Feed or assist clients with feeding
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train
