Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at Hakka Nation. This role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around food preparation and kitchen management.

Education Requirements
  • No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment

The position is based in a restaurant setting, where teamwork and efficiency are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess food portion sizes and associated costs.
  • Design menus and calculate necessary food quantities for preparation.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and cook a range of meals and individual dishes.
  • Accommodate customers with dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Prepare specialized meals for patients as directed by a dietitian or head chef.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols.
  • Oversee kitchen personnel and assistants.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and workspaces.
  • Manage overall kitchen operations.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is required.
Work Conditions
