Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales growth for a specific geographic region. This involves regular face-to-face interactions with existing customers, expanding their portfolios, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Sales Growth: Achieve or exceed sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Babcock and Wilcox's products and services to provide expert solutions to customers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities that can drive sales growth.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute business plans to drive sales growth and expand customer relationships.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in replacement industrial equipment and/or engineered solutions.
  • Skills: Strong sales and customer management skills, with a mechanical aptitude and direct sales experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the pulp and paper mills, general industrial sites, oil and gas facilities, and/or utility sites is an asset.
  • Soft Skills: Action-Oriented, Being Resilient, Collaborates, Customer Focus, E&C and EH&S Focus, Ensures Accountability, Manages Ambiguity, Plans and Aligns, Technical Aptitude.
