Plastering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plastering Specialist to join our team at K Sidhu Contracting Ltd. as a key member of our construction crew.
Key Responsibilities- Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Clean and prepare surfaces to receive plaster applications.
- Cure freshly plastered surfaces to achieve optimal strength and durability.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and prevent damage.
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
- Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces.
- Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry to achieve a seamless finish.
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a strong bond.
- Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
- Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring to provide a solid base for plaster applications.
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
- Ability to work in a dusty and outdoor environment.
