Overview:
This role is available in alignment with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
The Master of Forensic Accounting Program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed for graduate-level students, primarily delivered through distance education. This innovative program utilizes a problem-based learning approach, enhanced by online and email interactions. We are currently seeking applications for the position of Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) for the upcoming term from qualified individuals who are not enrolled at the University of Toronto.
Position Details:
Responsibilities: Duties include evaluating assignments and examinations based on established grading criteria developed in collaboration with the course instructor, while adhering to the grading standards of the University of Toronto. Regular consultations with the Director and Instructor will be necessary as part of the role.
Estimated Hours: 30–35 hours
Compensation: $52.26 per hour
Class Size: 15-20 students
Course Description: This course expands upon the Advanced Loss Quantification Course from the DIFA program, introducing advanced topics in Bankruptcy, Insolvency, and Business Valuation. Candidates are expected to possess foundational knowledge from prior DIFA coursework.
Required Qualifications: A Professional Accounting Designation along with experience in Investigative & Forensic Accounting is preferred.
