Job Summary

The Landing Gear market specializes in the design, manufacture, repair, and maintenance of landing gear and critical aircraft components. Our clients range from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to aircraft operators, serving both commercial and military markets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of a procurement strategy for commodities (preferred procurement methods for each product type)
  • Ensure a continuous flow of new suppliers in commodities
  • Develop and execute cost reduction strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date strategic status of each supplier (grow, maintain, or exit) in commodities
  • Implement a supplier rationalization strategy to optimize operations without overburdening administrative processes
  • Ensure adequate contract coverage in commodities (percentage of parts under contract)
  • Ensure regular executive meetings with strategic suppliers
Required Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing sector in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the market conditions for raw materials in the aviation industry, including key players, price trends, alliances, and a global perspective
  • Experience in commercial and contractual negotiation is mandatory
  • Understanding of contract language
  • Knowledge of logistics (Incoterms, modes of transport, transport deadlines)
  • Understanding of basic stock management concepts
  • Bilingualism (French and English); contact with suppliers worldwide
  • Available for frequent travel
