About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean environment.
  • Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work Environment: Work in a school or educational institution/establishment setting, interacting with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Work Term: Temporary, with a regular schedule of 21 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
