Housekeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeper to join our team at Sienna Senior Living. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure resident rooms are prepared for new occupants.
  • Notify supervisors of low supplies or equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience required.
  • Ability to read, write English, and follow written instructions.
  • Good understanding of chemical and equipment use.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • WHMIS training required.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and team members.
  • Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants).
