HealthSource Chiropractic of North Provo is seeking passionate and dedicated guitar instructors to join our team. We are committed to fostering a love for music and are looking for individuals who share our enthusiasm for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

As a guitar instructor, you will be responsible for providing personalized guitar lessons to students in their homes. Each lesson will typically last between 30 to 60 minutes and will encompass a variety of topics, such as:

  • Mastering strumming and picking techniques
  • Learning to play chords
  • Understanding rhythm and melodic playing
  • Improvisation skills

Your role will also involve commuting to students' residences to conduct lessons as scheduled. You will be expected to create tailored lesson plans that align with each student's individual goals and interests, ensuring they remain motivated and engaged in their musical journey.

Qualifications

  • High proficiency in playing both acoustic and electric guitar
  • Ability to perform in various musical styles, including pop, rock, blues, jazz, and classical
  • Experience with other string instruments is a plus (e.g., bass, ukulele, mandolin)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for commuting to lessons
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check

Education

  • A high school diploma is required
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience is preferred

Compensation

Starting pay ranges from $41 to $46 per teaching hour, with an additional travel bonus of $5 to $10 for in-home lessons. Compensation is based on education, teaching experience, tenure with the company, and job performance.
