Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Deli Clerk to join our team at our Station Square Food Store in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The successful candidate will provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers at the Deli Counter, package and label prepared foods, meats, cheeses, and other deli items, and maintain a display of deli products ensuring facing, filling, and organization meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare and package deli products, including meats, cheeses, and other items, to meet customer needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including the display of products and equipment
  • Monitor case temperature and ensure that all products are stored and displayed at the correct temperature
  • Perform other duties as required to support the deli department and the store as a whole

Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic approach to work and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a deli or food service environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
