The successful candidate will serve as a Software Development Lead, possessing a robust background in full stack development and a proven track record in managing software engineering operations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from inception to deployment and ongoing support.
- Manage multiple agile teams, ensuring the effective execution of development initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Guarantee the delivery of resilient, scalable, and high-performance solutions that fulfill business requirements.
- Collaborate with development leadership, architects, business analysts, product owners, and other cross-functional developers to produce high-quality software solutions.
- Refine and advance our development methodologies to boost efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
- Promote the adoption of best practices in code quality, testing, and maintenance to uphold high standards across all projects.
- Encourage practices such as peer review, technical documentation, and automation to support software development lifecycle activities.
- Cultivate an innovative and inclusive team culture that retains top talent and aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization.
- Implement effective communication strategies to ensure transparency and alignment across functional areas.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and staffing to meet project demands and business goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team leads and developers, fostering professional growth and development.
- Engage in all agile ceremonies, including planning, grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and developing both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Lead recruitment efforts, including conducting interviews and evaluating candidates.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in cloud development, integrating relevant insights into architectural designs and strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in managing agile development teams and overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET C#, Java, Python, and front-end technologies such as React and Angular.
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub, AzureGit, and BitBucket.
- Proven implementation experience with architectural concepts such as microservices and event-driven processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of platform and infrastructure concepts, including networking and server management.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork in a globally distributed environment.
- Relevant certifications in cloud development and architecture are advantageous.
