About the Role

Sunny Landscaping Ltd is seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Landscape Worker. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, maintaining our clients' properties, and ensuring our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Work alongside our experienced team to build and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and hardscapes.
  • Tie and Secure Plants: Ensure plants and trees are properly secured to prevent damage and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Regularly inspect and maintain our clients' properties to ensure they look their best.
  • Cut Grass: Maintain our clients' lawns to the highest standards, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Keep our work sites clean and organized, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Regularly inspect and remove any litter or garbage from our clients' properties.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the transportation and application of topsoil and other materials as required.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Help to establish new lawns and gardens by laying sod or seeding as needed.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Assist with the planting of new flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance our clients' outdoor spaces.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Regularly apply fertilizers to our clients' lawns and gardens to promote healthy growth.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Ensure our clients' properties are properly watered and maintained to prevent damage and promote healthy growth.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain our equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: This role will involve working in various locations, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
