Job Title: IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team at Epic IT Security Ltd. As an IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in resolving their IT security-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients in resolving their IT security-related issues.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Provide customer service.
  • May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities.
  • May perform a variety of office management and clerical duties.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of networking security, Internet, desktop applications, security software, MS Office, and MS Windows.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Client focus, judgement, organized, team player, and time management skills.
