About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Freshly Squeezed. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales assistants, and design team members.
    • Assign tasks and duties to staff members to ensure that the store is running efficiently.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the ordering and receipt of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are displayed attractively.
    • Authorize the return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
    • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
    • Analyze sales data and make recommendations for improving sales and store operations.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and that products are displayed attractively.
  • Supervision and Coordination
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    Requirements
    • 3-4 years of experience in a retail management role.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
