Job Title: Restaurant Cook

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at CAFÉ BISTRO DU HAVRE. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cooking and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with our head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
Requirements:
  • Cook Trade Certification
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
