Creative Manitoba is seeking a visionary and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in its mission to promote and support the arts and culture sector in Manitoba. As the chief executive officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive growth, innovation, and excellence in the arts and culture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of staff and consultants to achieve organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, funders, community agencies, and other partners.
- Represent the organization at public events and forums, advocating for the arts and culture sector.
- Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to promote the organization's programs and services.
- Manage the organization's finances, including budgeting, financial reporting, and grant administration.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to employment, taxation, and charitable status.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as arts administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role in the arts and culture sector.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the arts and culture sector in Manitoba, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $110,000 to $130,000.
- Benefits package, including health and dental insurance, and a shared RRSP contribution plan.
