Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to contribute to our financial success.

Role Summary

The primary focus of this position is to manage the collection of outstanding debts from clients while fostering strong relationships with our customer base. Additionally, the role may involve supporting other financial tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with customers to secure payments in accordance with agreed terms and achieving collection targets.
  • Setting up new customer accounts in our accounting software prior to activation.
  • Conducting credit assessments for new clients and advising on appropriate credit limits to the finance leadership.
  • Accurately processing customer payments in our accounting system upon receipt.
  • Resolving customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.
  • Preparing monthly payment schedules for suppliers.
  • Addressing supplier inquiries promptly.
  • Managing the processing of both supplier and customer invoices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Capability to identify and implement improvements in service delivery and processes.
  • Collaborative decision-making skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Determination in achieving resolutions.
