Store Team Member

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member to join our team in Edmonton-Southeast, AB. As a Store Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including dusting, mopping, and cleaning assigned areas.
- Provide excellent customer service, helping customers shop our store and find what they're looking for.
- Collect and dispose of trash, and move equipment and products for proper cleaning and placement.
- Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment, and maintain cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
- Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high traffic areas.
- Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
- Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, and project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.
- Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
