Job Summary

Southlake Regional Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead a groundbreaking initiative in the community. This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead a collaborative project with the Town of Georgina and the NYSS OHT, focused on bringing exceptional care closer to Georgina's residents and advancing Southlake's strategic health goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead project plans, timelines, and budgets related to the MOU and associated initiatives.
  • Establish and lead project governance structures, including the development and signing of necessary agreements and contracts.
  • Facilitate community engagement and outreach activities, including public information sessions, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Present progress and findings to stakeholders, including a formal bi-annual presentation to the Town of Georgina Mayor and Council.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the NYSS OHT, Health Georgina, and the Georgina Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure accountability and track scope, budget, and milestones towards goals and targets.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma related to healthcare, business, or a relevant discipline.
  • Course training in healthcare and health services, or other health-related topics.
  • Project Management Professional certification and/or training in this area is considered an asset.
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience related to strategy and plan development and project management.
  • Direct experience related to healthcare initiatives and project management.
  • Direct experience in community engagement and outreach activities.
