Department Overview

The Nuclear Medicine Department operates across multiple locations, catering to a varied patient demographic and delivering services to all clinical specialties, with a particular focus on Cardiac, Oncology, Neuro, and Vascular disciplines.

Role Overview

As a key member of the team, the Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist collaborates with colleagues to execute clinical imaging procedures while fostering a patient-centered atmosphere. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting all imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards, ensuring compliance with CNSC regulations.
  • Engaging in training initiatives and research projects.
  • Promoting a culture of clinical excellence and ongoing education.

Work Schedule

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday during the day.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registration with the College of MRT and CAMRT.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification (to be obtained within three months if not already held).
  • Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Experience in Bone Mineral Density (BMD) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to mentor and work with diverse learners.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is a prerequisite for employment.
