Security Loss Prevention Specialists play a crucial role in overseeing the loss prevention initiatives within the store. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.
Starting wage: $18 - $22
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining the store's security infrastructure
- Conducting surveillance across all areas, including perimeter inspections
- Ensuring inventory counts are accurately completed
- Sharing insights during team meetings and new associate orientations
- Collaborating with the district loss prevention manager on investigations
- Delivering Loss Prevention training to all team members
- Occasional travel may be required to support other Kent locations within the province
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with a keen attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Strong communication skills to engage with individuals of various ages and backgrounds, including summer students, customers, and law enforcement
- Previous experience in investigations is advantageous
- Familiarity with building supplies is a plus
