NIRVANA BUILDERS INC. is seeking a skilled Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tilesetters Supervisor to oversee our tilesetting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of tilesetters, coordinating projects, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 tilesetters and ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Coordinate and schedule tilesetting projects, including preparing production reports and estimating costs.
  • Oversee the training and development of tilesetters, including apprenticeship training.
  • Recruit and hire tilesetters and other staff as needed.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the tilesetting team, including setting up machines and equipment and requisitioning materials.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the work site is safe and secure.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions and disciplinary measures.
  • Read blueprints and drawings and estimate costs and materials.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in tilesetting or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment.
