Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Kitimat General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Care Unit, including Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Maternity, Special Care, Palliative Care, and Emergency Outpatients.
- Work collaboratively with the Unit Manager and Nurse in Charge to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring individualized and evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care and support.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and respectful work environment, adhering to Northern Health Authority's policies and procedures.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Previous experience in all levels of care, with a focus on Maternity and Pediatric care.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate related equipment and technology, with a focus on patient care and safety.
