The London District Catholic School Board is a reputable educational institution with a strong commitment to excellence. We are seeking a qualified Junior Teacher to join our team at St. Jude's Catholic Elementary School in Ingersoll.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher who can create a welcoming and safe learning environment for students. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Education Degree and be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach elementary students and develop engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Education Degree and Ontario College of Teachers certification
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario curriculum and assessment techniques
  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a safe learning environment
  • Commitment to Catholic education and values
