Senior Digital Design Engineer Opportunity

Synopsys, a leader in innovative technologies, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Silicon IP business, you will be responsible for integrating advanced capabilities into System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, helping customers meet unique performance, power, and size requirements of their target applications.

About the Role

As a Senior Digital Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex digital circuits, including RTL coding, modeling of analog blocks, and writing complex system-level tests in Verilog or System Verilog. You will also define and evaluate clock/reset domain crossing design constraints using CDC/RDC tools, develop and maintain existing SERDES PHY IPs supporting multiple protocols, and collaborate with Application Engineers and customers to resolve complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex digital circuits, including RTL coding, modeling of analog blocks, and writing complex system-level tests in Verilog or System Verilog.
  • Define and evaluate clock/reset domain crossing design constraints using CDC/RDC tools.
  • Develop and maintain existing SERDES PHY IPs supporting multiple protocols.
  • Collaborate with Application Engineers and customers to resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant digital design experience in the industry.
  • Scripting experience in Shell, Perl, Python, or TCL is a plus.
  • Good theoretical and practical understanding of digital signal processing and data recovery circuits.
  • Excellent analytical skills to resolve challenges in creative ways.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with different design groups and customers.
