Pastry Team Member

At The Wickaninnish Inn, we are seeking a skilled Pastry Team Member to join our culinary team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of artisan breads, pastries, scones, muffins, cookies, and dough products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake a wide range of pastry products, including breads, pastries, and desserts.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of quality and presentation in all pastry products.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with other culinary team members to ensure seamless service and high-quality products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pastry trends and techniques, and implement new ideas and recipes as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a pastry or bakery environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
