Job Title: Building Science Engineer Level III

Partner Staffing is seeking an experienced Building Science Engineer Level III to join our team. As a key technical leader, you will oversee and execute complex projects related to building envelope performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage building science projects, including building envelope assessments, energy audits, retrofits, and new construction consulting.
  • Prepare project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Perform detailed analysis of building envelope systems, including thermal, moisture, and structural performance.
  • Conduct site inspections, diagnostic testing, and forensic investigations to identify building performance issues.
  • Develop and review design solutions, specifications, and technical reports related to building science.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and sustainability guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia or eligibility to obtain.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building science with a strong focus on building envelope design and analysis.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Proficiency in building science software tools and programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
