About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at 1907334 Ontario LTD. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Work Site Environment: Work in various environments, including at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy, dusty, and cold conditions.
  • Work Setting: Work at various locations, including construction sites.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willing to travel regularly to job sites.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Overtime and Sound Discrimination: Be willing to work overtime and demonstrate sound discrimination in a noisy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Own Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat required.
