Minimum Qualifications:
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician license (consideration for a 310S or 421A license or apprentice)
- Valid G license
- Experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems
- Possess own set of tools
- Comfortable working outdoors in any season
Preferred Qualifications:
- DZ license, an asset
- Roadside service experience
- Experience with diagnostic software and electronic documentation/timekeeping
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Valid Ozone Depletion Training
Day in the Life
As a vital component of our fleet, you will be tasked with servicing and maintaining all equipment, including light vehicles, heavy trucks, and machinery, as well as hydraulic, electrical, and heavy power train systems. Each day will present unique challenges, as some service calls may occur off-site or require urgent on-road repairs, necessitating your diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues.
Preventative and predictive maintenance will be crucial to your role, along with daily service documentation to maintain organization within the shop.
Safety will always be your top priority as you promote, lead, and implement a safety-first culture for all employees, subcontractors, and consultants. Your insights will be valued in decision-making regarding external repairs and overall shop maintenance. You will play an essential role in ensuring our equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
