- Prepare compounds, mixtures, and temperature control items with precision and accuracy.
- Package blister pack medications with attention to detail and quality control.
- Deliver completed products to customers based on schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure follow-up on minor issues and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to synchronize and coordinate tasks effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including inventory shelves and supplies.
- Ensure adequate supplies and materials are available to support pharmacy operations.
- Contribute to the management of prescription information and maintain accurate records.
- Recognize and take responsibility for the outcomes of services provided, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Embody a commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize work assignments effectively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, remaining flexible and responsive to the needs of the pharmacy.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Ability to work quickly and consistently for extended periods, maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude, with a commitment to collaboration and mutual respect.
- Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment, with knowledge of pharmacy operations and procedures.
- Experience with HealthWatch system is an asset, but not required.
- Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an accredited college is preferred, but not required.
