About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Engineer to join our Product Security team at Menlo Ventures. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure architecture and infrastructure.
  • Conduct thorough threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to engineering teams on secure coding practices and security best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and recommend improvements to our security posture.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in application security, cloud security, and threat modeling.
  • Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with security testing tools and technologies, such as penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate complex security risks.
