Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Mantecon Partners Inc. is a dynamic and innovative engineering firm specializing in structural, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, and project management. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Dundas, Ontario.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing project teams on civil design projects for institutional, healthcare, commercial, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, strong technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from initial conception to completion
  • Design and manage watermains, stormwater, and sanitary sewer systems
  • Develop and implement grading plans and culvert studies
  • Manage municipal road and highway design projects
  • Coordinate and manage the work of sub-consultants as needed
  • Project Management for the civil engineering team and related sub-consultants
  • Monitor and review project team hours for accuracy and time effectiveness
  • Complete final project closeout for customers and project teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in civil and/or environmental engineering
  • Designation as Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Ontario
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting engineering or municipal environment, preferably in Ontario
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
  • Experience with stormwater management software, Excel, Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, and traffic maneuvering software
