Role Overview:

The Assistant Store Manager in Training will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and sales growth at Atlantic Superstore. Reporting to the Store Manager, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading and coaching colleagues, and fostering a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and meet the needs of customers, ensuring a seamless shopping experience
  • Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the community, driving loyalty and retention
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and District Manager to execute business plans and achieve financial objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with merchandising and operational standards, ensuring a high-quality shopping experience

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a talent for building customer loyalty and community relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, engagement, and retention in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Experience managing within a large format retail environment, with a strong understanding of sales growth strategies
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to deliver business results and drive sales growth
