Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring that every guest is seated in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant, ensuring that every area is tidy and well-maintained.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service, anticipating and meeting the needs of every guest.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, wine list, and other products, making recommendations to guests as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu changes, promotions, and other important information, sharing this knowledge with guests and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that every dish is presented to the highest standard, and that every guest receives their order in a timely manner.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, handling customer payments and operating the point-of-sale system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar high-volume fine dining role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic outlook and personality, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Professional presentation, with a clean and well-groomed appearance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
