Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at West Country Family Service Association.
Job Summary:The Healthcare Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, including their living spaces and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
- Healthcare Aide Certificate or equivalent
- First Aid Certificate
- Immunization records
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
