As the Director of Engineering, you will oversee technology, project delivery, and team management. Your focus will be on enhancing the engineering teams and fostering a strong collaboration with the Product Organization, ensuring we meet the needs of our end customers effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Product Directors to formulate and implement the roadmap for Sell and Sign products, ensuring accountability for delivery and business outcomes.
- Lead and manage multiple teams of software engineers and Engineering Managers, overseeing the end-to-end execution across architecture, coding, quality assurance, deployment, and monitoring.
- Establish and execute a technical roadmap, ensuring a target of 99.99% system uptime.
- Engage with customers to gather insights and feedback, facilitating their success and satisfaction with our offerings.
- Mentor and coach Engineering Managers, supporting their professional development and growth.
- Drive engineering excellence by leading initiatives that enhance our operational performance while scaling the business.
- Proactive and self-motivated problem solver.
- Over 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in developing, launching, and managing software products, preferably in the SaaS sector.
- Demonstrated leadership as a 'Manager of Managers', optimizing team performance and fostering growth.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software engineering (Python, Java, Scala, JavaScript, Golang). While coding is not a requirement, a solid understanding of system design and architecture is essential.
- A commitment to excellence, continuously challenging the status quo and striving for improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in remote or distributed settings.
- Fluency in English, with strong writing and speaking abilities (C1+ level).
