Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced truck driver to join our team at Razir Transport Services Ltd. As a long haul truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Criminal record check
- Driver's validity licence check
- Driving record check (abstract)
- Drug test
