Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at WYNYARD DOLLAR STORE LIMITED. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
