Bookkeeper Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at CB Canada. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the maintenance of accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform month-end closings and reconcile accounts.
  • Design and implement effective accounting systems and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with accounting software, including Sage Accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a related field.
