Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Longtech Computer Distribution Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
