Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Business & Technical Analyst, SAP SCM Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital solutions team, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and objectives, and analyze business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities and define requirements for solutions.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications that guide the development of software applications, systems, or processes, ensuring that these specifications meet both the business needs and technical standards.
- Work with digital and software development teams to design solutions that fulfill business requirements, evaluating potential technical solutions for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals, requirements, and constraints, facilitating meetings and discussions to gather feedback and consensus.
- Assist in project management tasks, such as planning, scheduling, and tracking progress, ensuring that projects stay on track to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Participate in the testing of developed solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements and standards, assisting in identifying and documenting bugs or issues for resolution.
- Develop training materials and provide support to users on new systems or applications, ensuring that end-users are equipped to use the new solutions effectively.
- Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements, technical specifications, project plans, and reports to ensure knowledge is captured and shared.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- Relevant experience in business analysis, technical analysis, or a related area, demonstrating a track record of bridging business needs with technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business issues and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Good understanding of information technology, software development life cycles, and architectural frameworks, with familiarity with programming languages, databases, and software development tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with diverse groups of stakeholders, including business users, digital professionals, and management.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodology, principles, and practices.
- Attention to detail in documenting requirements, specifications, and project details to ensure clarity and alignment with objectives.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, technologies, and project priorities.
- Expert knowledge in design, architecting solutions in SAP materials management/logistics execution functionality – (MRP), sourcing, inventory management, material valuation, delivery processing (inbound/outbound), local and legal regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of various procurement processes like intra/intercompany procurement, subcontracting, serialization.
- Strong knowledge of SAP-ITM/GTS (focus on ITM) for denied party, import/export, licenses, and INTRASTAT.
- Hands-on SAP implementation experience in multiple projects, end-to-end.
- Integration of MM/Logistic execution functions with other modules like FI, CO, SD.
- Strong knowledge of integration with 3PL warehouse solutions, Supplier Portals, Track and Trace, and similar other logistics 3rd party systems.
- Great knowledge of technical tools and architecture like ABAP, Smart Forms, (Web)RFC, SAP BTP, Gen-AI, ML.
- Keep up to date and integrate on the SAP innovations and functionalities to bring the latest value to the customers.
- In-depth knowledge of FIORI, Analytics, Reporting, and AI in general.
- Very strong GxP knowledge.
- This position is remote and is based in Canada.
