Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Massage Therapy Program Coordinator to join our team at Willis College. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination and administration of our Massage Therapy Program, ensuring its alignment with regulatory body and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and implement policies and protocols required by regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies.
  • Plan and deliver the overall program, including its activities, in accordance with the mission and goals of the Willis College Massage Therapy Program.
  • Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program.
  • Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure program activities operate within the policies and procedures of Willis College, regulatory bodies, and accreditation.
  • Supervise program staff, provide regular performance reviews, and ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the program.
  • Monitor and approve budgeted program expenditures, identify and evaluate risks associated with program activities, and take appropriate action to control them.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Registered Massage Therapy program with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the profession.
  • Member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario.
  • College diploma or university degree is an asset.
  • Education and experience must meet the requirements of the Private Career Colleges Act.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate in Adult Education or the qualifications or experience to evaluate, monitor, and assess adult learning.
  • Knowledge of the Inter-jurisdictional Practice Competencies & Performance Indicators document (2016).
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Experience teaching adults, familiarity with the CMTCA standards and criteria, and knowledge of Learning Management System (Moodle) is an asset.
