Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history
  • Develop and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs to reduce environmental impact
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and coordinators to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair activities
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance and facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance plans and schedules
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College diploma or degree in a related field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial technology)
  • Certifications in maintenance management or related fields (e.g. CMRP, CMM)
  • Experience with CMMS software and other maintenance management tools
