Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in the Guelph area. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of industrial water systems according to quality systems and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fabricate sub-components of equipment
• Position, install, and secure sub-components into various pieces of equipment as per drawings
• Perform self-inspection to verify that all components are installed and match applicable drawings
• Perform paint touch-up where required to ensure product quality
• Package all equipment to meet shipping requirements
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and proficiency in understanding basic pipe and skid layout and assembly, as well as the use of hand and power tools
• Experience in PVC pipe gluing is an asset
• Preference will be given to previous experience in manufacturing of large water treatment equipment

Requirements:
• Ability to assemble equipment to assembly and process drawings
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency in understanding basic pipe and skid layout and assembly, as well as the use of hand and power tools
• Experience in PVC pipe gluing is an asset
• Preference will be given to previous experience in manufacturing of large water treatment equipment
