Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in the Guelph area. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of industrial water systems according to quality systems and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and fabricate industrial water systems according to quality systems and specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble sub-components of equipment.
- Position, install, and secure all sub-components into various pieces of equipment as per appropriate drawings.
- Perform self-inspection to verify that all components are installed and match applicable drawings and sign QA documentation.
- Perform paint touch-up where required to ensure product quality.
- Package all equipment to meet shipping requirements (overseas vs. domestic).
- Ability to assemble equipment to assembly and process drawings.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Must be proficient in understanding basic pipe and skid layout and assembly, use of hand and power tools.
Experience in PVC pipe gluing is an asset. Preference will be given to previous experience in manufacturing of large water treatment equipment. If you are qualified and interested in this opportunity, please send your resume to the hiring manager.
