Job Title: Senior Database Developer

Location: Hybrid - 3 days/week

Job Type: Long term contract plus extension

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to join our team at Open Systems Technologies. As a Senior Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data models in SQL and No-SQL databases
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures to implement business logic
  • Improve data quality and communicate with global business stakeholders
  • Deliver high-quality work and meet requirements and standards
  • Collaborate with global development teams to design and implement system components
  • Communicate technical details and requirements to stakeholders
  • Take ownership of resolving complex issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, or related field
  • Financial knowledge or background is a plus
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database (PL-SQL) or MS SQL Server (T-SQL)
  • Experience with No-SQL databases like Elasticsearch or MongoDB
  • Familiarity with database performance tuning and ETL tools
  • Experience with big data platforms and Gen-AI training
  • Linux command line experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data/database/data warehouse area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
