Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing finish carpentry work on various construction and renovation projects. This includes reading blueprints, preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and installing windows, doors, and other finishes.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in finish carpentry
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of construction and renovation settings, including commercial and residential projects. The work environment will be noisy and dusty, and the candidate must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
